How do delete emails from Outlook that have been dowloaded from H.

I have set up Outlook to download messages from my Hotmail account, so that I
don't have to be online to read them. However, now I realize I cannot delete
them from Outlook unless I am connected to my Hotmail account. Is there any
way to delete downloaded messages when I am not online, after they have been
downloaded to my account?
