How do I accept changes but still show the changed line bar?

hi Wayne,

You can't do that, but you can leave the tracked changes in and set the
inserted text colour to black and deleted text to hidden. That will give a
printed result that matches what you're after.

I am editing a document with track changes on. When I accept the changes the
vertical changed line bar disappears. Does anybody know how to accept
changes but keep the vertical bar indicating changed lines?
