How do I add a list/shortcut of all drives when opening a file?

When I had a windows 2000 OS I was able to access all drives on the left side
of the Open File Window. Basically, I had shortcuts for each drive but now
that I've switched to XP I no longer have the shortcuts. How do I bring them
back?
