|| version 6.00.2900.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158). I installed
|| office 2003 on a new machine with no upgrade. Outlook expresss came
|| with the machine. I used to have Outlook 2000 SR-1 (9.0.0.3821) and
|| Office 2000 (9.0.3821 SR-1) on my old machine.

Then ensure your Outlook Address Book service is installed and that Outlook,
not Express, is your default mail application.

I couldn't get Outlook to install by itself, it removed Word & Excel. I finally gave up, uninstalled the whole Office mess, re-installed all the components together and this fixed the problem. Thanks for your help.

I couldn't get Outlook to install by itself, it removed Word & Excel. I finally gave up, uninstalled the whole Office mess, re-installed all the components together and this fixed the problem. Thanks for your help.
