How do I add lines to a page?

I am writing an outline, and the lines ended and now i am writing on gray,
and I don't like it. Please help! I am new to this and don't know how to do
much, but I know there has to be a way to make a page as long as it needs,
right?

Sounds like you somehow ended up with a fixed-size page. Try this:
Rightclick on the page tab, and select "Page Setup"
Set the paper size (in the upper right corner) to "auto"
Click Format, and select "Rule Lines"
Select the type of rule lines that you want
