how do I add music to a slideshow?

I have somehow added a clip already from a file in an earlier segment of the
slideshow, but I am tring to add a second song to finish out the show and for
some reason the slip will play, but the slide that it starts on will remain
there until the song is over (thus not continuing its transitioning)

Set the music file to stop playing after XX slides instead of "After current
slide" or "on click".
