how do i add my own picture to a powerpoint presentation and have.

i doing a presentation on power point i want to be able to add my own picture
as the background and have the text over it

1. Go to View > Master > Slide Master > Format > Background > Fill Effects >
Picture and browse to and select your image. Your image will fill the slide
edge to edge.

2. Or go to View > Master > Slide Master > Insert > Picture > Picture from File
and select your picture and size it to fit the slide.
