How do I add page numbers to Microsoft Office Document Imaging doc

I am trying to combine outputs from Excel, Access reports, etc. into one
document without loosing formatting. I have chosen Microsoft Office Document
Imaging to do so. Is there a way to add page numbers to the document within
the Document Imaging?

Only using the 'annotations' feature in MS Office Document Imaging in Office 2003, if you haven't included the page numbers on the
source documents themselves.

OK, Bob - how do I use annotations to do that? Do I have to number each page
separately, or is there an easier way?
