how do I add the recover deleted items to my outlook tools menu?

I have went to the tools menu to recover some files that I had deleted. I do
not have the option to recover deleted items. How do I add this option to my
tools menu?

You have posted this message to the wrong newsgroup.
The access in this groups name refers to Microsoft Access, a database
program.
Please repost to the correct newsgroup for whatever Office program you
are using. I would suggest you include your Windows and Office version
number in the message.

If you indeed ARE using Access then I'm afraid the deleted items are
unrecoverable. This is usually made very clear just before the update process
by a message box that says if you proceed to delete these items cannot be
recovered. Sorry for the bad news....
