How do I allocate more memory to PowerPoint on a pc?

My movies are running EXTREMELY slow and choppy... is there any way to
allocate more memory to PowerPoint so I can run the presentation smoothly??

Some solutions could be:
Try turning off the background programmes such as anti virus software.

Turn off the fastfind indexer:
Check "POWERPOINT -- and everything else! -- SPEEDUP TIP" section at
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00360.htm

Pre-run the presentation once before doing an actual presentaiton.

Remove temporary files such as clearing cookies.
