How do I allow Palm to Access Outlook?

Since early November, I have had problems synchronizing my Palm Tungsten E
with Outlook 2003. I do not get the prompt to "Allow Access". I do get a
"Server is Busy" notice. Then my page file memory starts to increase and the
CPU goes to 100%. I never complete a successful HotSnych. I have reloaded
the appliaction and applied all appropriate service packs and updates. Still
no success.

Get the latest version of the Palm Desktop/Hotsync and whatever sync
software you use for Outlook syncing. Check on the Palm website for more
info - I think the Tungsten E uses a native sync tool instead of Chapura
PocketMirror or Pumatech Intellisync, but I don't remember.

Unfortunately I have already done that. The problem appears to be with
Outlook granting access permission and not with Hotsynch. Thanks for the
reply.

The problem is with Hotsync not conforming with Outlook's security model.

I'm curious.

Do you have XP with SP2 installed?

The reason I ask is I've read about that combo with palm hot synching.
