How do I archive completed projects from the project server?

Has anyone developed a procedure for archiving completed
projects from the project server?

Actually, we archive finished projects in a lokal folder
and then delete them from the server (done by the admin).

At one client...I created a version called "Archive" - (validated environment)
From there they went to another server as mpp's....when you get enough its off to iron moountain.
