How do I assign multiple resources to a task and force project to make them work concurrantly?

I have multiple resources working on each task. They are each are responsible for a percentage of the overall task. Although my task extends from 12/16/03-03/15/04, when I pull up the individual users tasks in project, it only shows one user working from 12/16 - 1/14; the next user is working on the task from 1/15 - 2/22; etc.... How can I force all the resources to see the task assigned to them in full even though they are only responsible for a percentage of the task.
