How do I attach/embed a Word document in a Publisher webpage?

I need visitors to be able to download important documents from my publisher
designed site. How can I get a Word document to be attached to a Publisher
webpage, or embedded within it?

The way I do it is:

Create a folder on your website; let's call it Downloads

Upload your file i.e., Read_File.doc into the Downloads folder

On a webpage somewhere type Get Read_File here.
With your cursor, drag it over the Get Read_File here. or any part i.e.,
here
Go up and select Insert, Hyperlink and fill in the box
\Downloads\Read_File.doc

Save your webpage and upload it to the server.


Suggestion: Convert your file to pdf format. More folks have the free
Acrobat Reader than Microsoft's Word.

Hi Don,

Do you mean "create a folder" on the ISP server? I use FTP and have tried
this for ages without success.
