J Jason Morin Jan 18, 2005 #2 Dates in Excel have to be an exact day or else you have to create them as text. I suggest you insert: 12/1/04 and right-click on the fill handle and drag for 60 cells. Release the right-click button and select: Fill Months Now format your cells as mmm-yy. HTH Jason Atlanta, GA
