How do I autofill text?

Move your cursor to the bottom right hand corner of a
selcted cell till it turns into a skinny black + sign...
then click and drag down or across, whichever way you
need the data to be pasted...

Does that help?

I should clarify somthing from my previous post. When the blank cells
get highlighted, on of them will be white and have a frame around it.
When you enter the formula, the letter you use must be the one
corresponding to whatever column that cell is in.

If the white cell with the frame is cell D6, your formula must be =D$1
- If its in B2 the formula must be =B$1

You know what? That worked when I had 1 header and many detail records.
But It didn't work when I had many headers and many details. But all I had
to do was remove the $ and it worked great! Thanks for the help, never knew
about Goto and Cntrl-Enter.
