How do I automatically export InfoPath forms from Outlook to aDatabase

B

Brian

I'm completely lost, my boss decided that this is something I should
be able to do even thou I've never used this program before, so any
help would be greatly appreciated.

The Form consists mostly of check boxes, multiple choice questions,
and only 4 or 5 text boxes.

The process should be either...
Step 1: User downloads an Infopath form off of our website (it's
basically a password protected FTP server, only approved users will be
able to download it. Unfortunately we don't have a shared drive
between all the users.)
Step 2: User completes the form and e-mails it to my boss
Step 3: His Outlook should automatically export the data to a
database.

Or...
My Boss could request the information through the method built into
Access. But thanks to our security settings it would have to be with
an HTML form, and I'd need the form to have custom options as opposed
to the standard text boxes.

I've been stuck on this for the better part of a week. I mostly
program Excel VBA for engineering applications, I guess that's why
Mark decided this was "My Thing".

If anyone can help me with this you'd really be a real life saver,
-Brian
