How do I backspace/delete without a pause

When I use the backup or delete keys there is a pause after every use. At one
time I could hold either key down and it would backup/delet until the key was
released. We have I done? It is very slow and frustrating. Also, when a
letter key is held down it will not repeat its self.

Hi helpless,

Check your control panel > keyboard. In XP you can set the repeat rate and
repeat delay.
