How do I backup groove from a dead computer?

Hi and TIA for any help.

I have a customers computer which has crashed with a dead Motherboard and
Power Supply(Common eMachine problem). Basically I am trying to find out
what folders I would be able to backup in order to transfer to a new computer
running Groove.

I have been reading that you must have your main computer with the Groove
account running to transfer and sync your data. What if the computer is
unbootable? Is there not a way to backup the folders similar to Outlook's
Local Settings folder? Please help me.

Thanks,

Joe

`You only need your account file from the old computer.

If you are in a managed Groove enviroment you can ask your Groove Admin for
this.
If not then I hope you have made a backup off your account file.

You can sync then with your groove peers (other groove users in your
workspaces).
And you will get your data back.

In worst case you can try to get the two Groove Folders back. They are in
your local profile and you need the System and User directory and copy that
to the new machine.

See ya,

Jeroen
