How do I calculate the minutes between two time values 11:13 - 2:.

In Excel 2000, I am attempting to automatically calculate the total number of
minutes between two time vectors, i.e. 07:43 to 14:26 = (total minutes). Any
help would be greatly appreciated as I am new to Excel. Thanks

(Start time is A End time is B)
=TEXT(B2-A2,"h:mm")
