How do I change a Word Document to Text?

I need to add my resume to an application but it states that it needs to be
in Text. I have not a clue!

Do a Save As and change the type to text only. Then open it in Notepad so
that you can clean it up a bit.

Good advice, especially about opening it in Notepad.

I keep a plain text version of my resume for the same reason. Saving it as
text is great but they always need a little adjustment. You need to be
represented well right from the start. :)
