How do I change from offline to online in Outlook 2003?

When I log on to Office Outlook 2003 I get a notice MS Office Outlook is
Offline and I'm unable to send any E-mail. Everything goes into the out box
and stays there. How do I correct this ?

In the menu, click on File. Is Work Offline checked? If so, try unchecking
it.

If this doesn't fix it, the problem likely goes deeper. Can you provide
information about how you're connecting to the internet? Do other internet
applications (e.g., your web browser) work? (This likely would mean you've
posted your question from a different location.)
