How do I change Inbox and View Boxes from Vertical to Horizantal?

On OficeXP and earlier I had all Folders down the left side of Outlook, and
had the email Details across the top right side and Preview on the bottom
right of the page. I could see all, track all and copy and paste all from
that one view. My page looked like a larg I=. The "I" was Folders and the
horizantal lines Details and View. Can this layout be duplicated in 2003 with
its Vertical View, and if not, Why Not?
