How do I change individual colors on WMF file inserts?

In PowerPoint 2003, you could change individual colors on WMF inserts. I
have a graph with multiple colors that has been imported as a WMF. It has 2
different colors of green, and I need to change one of the greens. With the
PowerPoint 2007 the recolor does not allow you to change just one individual
color. Any suggestions?

If the change is simple you might like to try this faiorly tedious option.

Ungroup the clip art twice. Probably zoom in and use tab to cycle through
the individual shapes changing fills as needed. It helps to load the pick up
and apply format tools to the QAT and use them to apply the wanted colour.

But you can ungroup the WMF image and re-color the lines and then re-group
the parts of the image. Might be a bit tedious, though, depending on the
amount of detail your image contains.

Best regards,
Ute

After speaking with Technical Support, I have been informed that this feature
is no longer available in PowerPoint 2007. I was told that there were
request to change the shading of an object and therefore was replaced with
this feature. His suggestion was to send an e-mail to
"[email protected]" to request this feature back.
But as of right now there are now plans to have this feature returned in an
update.
