In the old version of Word (2003), if you wanted to increase or decrease the
spacing before or after items in a bullet or number list, you simply
highlighted the list items in question, re-set the spacing before and/or
after, and voila! In the new version this procedure works for ordinary
paragraphs, but I've yet to figure out how to get it to work on a list. For
example, if I select all the items on the list, and increase the "before"
spacing to 6 or 12 points, it will add the extra spacing before the first
item on the list, but not the others. please help.
