How do I change the BMP setting when saving downloaded photos?

BMP setting

When I Rt. click on a photo to save it into my files the photo comes up as
untitled and will only allow me to save in the BMP format. How can I change
this so that I can save it in JPG or other formats with the downloaded name?
I think this ties in somehow with my recent install of MS Office XP or some
update as it worked fine before.
