How do I change the color in an IF proposition.

I have formatted cells with an IF proposition that returns two different
answers. I want each answer to have a different color. How do I format the IF
formula?

You would select the cells that contain the IF formula, go to
format>conditional formatting> and use "cell value is", then select the
format to be applied, and change the color. Do the same for the 2nd answer
but with a different color.
