How do I change the color of the preview pane in picture manager?

I currently have a cream colored background on which my pictures are
displayed. I would like to change the background to a different color. I
cannot find the answer in the help menu or online.

Hi GTozzie,

Generally MS Office apps take their color settings from Windows, rather than
having their own. (Right click on your Windows desktop, choose Properties
then Appearance)
