how do i change the default city/area code in outlook?

we have recently upgraded our system to office 2007 and now when entering in
new contacts the phone numbers come through with a default city/area code of
6021 in stead of 08. it is possible to go in and change each one separately
but as this is a long and tedious task does anyone know how to change the
default?

Examine your Windows dialing properties and see if they're correct.
