How do I change the display name on these forums?

HP PRINTER DRIVER IS THE CAUSE

Apparently I typed in the Subject in the field for the Display Name when I
made my first post under my new Hotmail ID. How can I change the Display
Name? I plan to keep this Hotmail ID forever, so I don't want to go thru life
known as "HP PRINT DRIVER IS THE CAUSE".

I have gone to my profile and see no way to change the display name.

Carey,
Have you actually been to that site? I went there first thinking that would
be the logical place to make the change. Nowhere in Personal Information does
it list the Display Name that is shown here (HP PRINTER DRIVER IS THE CAUSE)
or give me any way to change the stored name. Any other ideas or more
specific directions to how to change the Display Name?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

When you're looking at any of the discussion groups, go to the upper right. On
the same line with the "Sign Out" button, to the left of the Help link is an
unlabeled icon showing a person and a pencil -- the mouseover tip says "Edit My
Profile". Clicking that takes you to a profile page different from the one Carey
cited, and the first item there is Display Name.

to "The Fonz". lol

Actually, the "Help" icon & the icon with the "person & pencil" are 3 lines
down from "Sign Out" on my screen - BUT, the "person & pencil" icon is the
proper place to change the display name and it worked fine. This is also the
place to record your signature and other info you want to be displayed.
Another opportunity for MS to document this somewhere or reference it on the
Profile page.
