How do I change the Excel columns back to letters?

In Office 2007 Excel, my columns suddenly turned to numbers instead of
letters. Now that all the menu options are different, the previous posts for
this problem are not helping me. The Tools>Options>General tabs are no
longer applicable in 2007.
