how do I change the interface language in microsoft office?

the interface, everything is in chinese, for powerpoint, word, publisher,
excel... etc. I use microsoft office 2007. my laptop is new, i think i used
windows vista home edition. everything else in the laptop is english.

i have already tried all the microsoft tips on the website. i changed the
default installation to english but everything still opens up in traditional
mandarin! what else can I do to change the interface language to english?
