How Do I Change the Pane Color In Visio

I would like the back ground color to be different in Visio. It is usually
checkered white. How do change the pane color to a darker color?

Hello Abe,

Have a look at Tools / Options / General [tab] / Color settings [button]

Alternatively you could add a background page a draw a coloured rectangle,
the same size as the background page and then assign the background page on
a page by page basis. Have a look over here if that sounds interesting:
