How do I change the source file for multiple linked objects?

In the interest of streamlining a cumbersome process, I have created a Word
document containing about 100 objects linked to an Excel spreadsheet. When I
change the information in the spreadsheet, the Word document updates fine.
The problem is that I need to share these capabilities with others in a group
by making the files available on a SharePoint site. Unfortunately, once you
move the source file, all the links break. I can go to Edit/Links and select
all the links, then click Change Source, but it forces me to reopen the
source file 100 times (once for each link). I can't ask people to do this as
part of a process that's supposed to make their lives easier. Is there any
way to change the source for all linked objects with one click/keystroke? I
am using Microsoft Office Professional 2003.

Try displaying the field codes by pressing Alt+F9 and using
File/Replace (F5) to replace the path, or portion of the path, that
needs to be changed. Once your Find/Replace is complete, press Alt +
F9 again to toggle off the view of field codes, select the entire
document, and press F9 to update the linked fields.
