How do I change the time scale display & reflect in PWA

Grace

Hi!

Just wondering..

I need to change the display of gantt chart timescale in my project (remove
time scale breakdown of weekls in the bottom most tier and use weeks or
months) and same settings should apply on the Project Web Access (PWA) once I
publish it..
I tried saving and publishing the project with new settings on the timescale
but it did not reflect on the PWA.

How can I do it? Is it possible that the display will only apply in 1 project?

By the way, I am using MS Project Pro 2003 and MS Project Server 2003..

Kindly advise me.

Thanks!

Hi Grace,
You can modify the timescale bar in Project, and it will be saved with each
project, however it is not possible to define the timescale in PWA and any
timescale settings in Project will not propogate to PWA.

Thanks Ben for the info!
But how can I display a project with new timescale settings after publishing
it? Because I tried reopening the published project in MS Project with
modified timescale but I saw that it did not change. It was as if I did not
change anything on the timescale settings.

Hi Grace, I cannot replicate your issue at all. My timescale settings stay
the same after publishing. I can change the settings for different projects,
publish them, close project, re-open, and the settings remain as per the last
save, and are unique to each project.
