how do I change this doc from word pad to office word

I have an attachment sent to me in word pad the .doc will not convert to
office any suggestions

..doc will open in Word as will Wordpad (.rtf). Just open it in Word and save
it.

Hi Roughhouse,

You may need to provide additional information on problems
you're having.

MS Windows Wordpad documents can be opened in MS Word
(or viewed in the downloadable MS Word viewer if Word
is not installed). If you can open it in Wordpad you
can copy the contents into a blank Word document through
the clipboard as well.
