How do i check my ink cartridges

I want to check my cartridges,as print from black is terribly faint.How do I
get colour printed print

If your printer driver has the capability to check ink level, you should
follow, as Tom posted, the printer manufactures directions. Some printer
manufacturers to not provide that feature or if you used a Windows provided
driver for your printer, the feature may not be included.

If you used a Windows provided driver, check your printer manufacturer's web
site for a Windows XP compatible printer driver.

You can also check your printer driver for a "Clean" feature or clean
directions for the print heads. If after following the print head
manufacturers' cleaning procedure, you still have faint black printing,
replace the black ink supply.

Explain more about: "How do I get color printed print." Your question is
not clear {to me}.
