How do I color code a drop down list in Excel 2000?

I need to create a drop down list in excel that is color coded, ie, drop down
is number 1-10, with number 1-3 being red, 4-6 yellow, etc. How do I do this?

Hi,

I don't think you can color your list inside the dropdown.
You could color the linked cell with conditional
formatting, but you'll only have 3 color selections.
