How do I colour-code meeting req. for shared users on a network?

I am trying to find a way where I can keep track of 3 different types of
meetings for colleagues at my workplace. Ideally I would like to
automatically colour-code the meetings, and then I can look on the shared
calendars and keep track of this. However for some reason automatic colour
coding only works on the users calendar, and can't be seen on a network.

If anyone can help that would be great.
