I am trying to determine the differences in two similar Excel spreasheets. Is there a means to do this?

One way:

Create a third sheet. Enter in A1:

=IF(Sheet1!A1=Sheet2!A1,"","Different")

Copy A1 down and across as far as necessary.

Thanks very much!

I may resort to this method. I have a multiple sheet (about 8 or 9 sheets) workbook. As you might imagine, this method will require a few passes of your algorithm to complete the task. I've created ".csv" files from sheets in the past to compare to workbooks. However, comparing multiple sheet workbooks is a bit cumbersome using this method.

Thanks again,
