How do I completely uninstall Office 2003 incl. User Settings?

I have found the need on several occasions to completely uninstall Office
2003 and reinstall using new settings. However, it seems that most of the
time, whenever I uninstall from Add or Remove Programs, there are still many
things left over (i.e., registry settings, user profile settings, the
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office folder, etc.). While saving the user
profile data is desireable in some instances, there are other instances where
it is not.

Is there a tool or utility or some sort of documented method for completely
uninstalling Office 2003 including all the registry settings, files/folders,
as well as user profile data?

Thanks!

Anne,

Thanks for the reply and thanks for the link. I uninstalled Office 2003
according to that article, "the old fashioned way" in an attempt to try to
get the Office Update online utility to recognize a Windows XP machine as
just that, and not a Macintosh. I've been having this weird problem with
just this laptop where Office Update thinks the client machine is a Macintosh
and it won't run the utility (see my relevant post in the Office Updates MS
newsgroup)

Unfortunately, the Office Update site still thinks my Windows XP laptop is a
Macintosh. ??? At least I know how to completely uninstall Office.

Thanks!
