how do I configure Outlook e-mail settings plz?

Have tried so hard, so long without success. Outlook 2000 on winxp h/edition?
Used IMAP etc..
Anyone plz?

what is your mail service? imap would be an exchange server, like a business
would have. if you have an isp account, you would use pop3.

IMAP is not limited to Exchange nor does an ISP always use POP3

Contact your ISP or administrator for the configuration settings. They are
the only ones who can provide you with the right server and logon details.
