How do I connect my new laptop to my w'less desktop to rec/send em

I have purchased a new laptop and have been able to connect to my wireless
desktop computer but I would like to be able to send and receive emails on
the laptop but the only way I can do this at the moment is by going onto
bigpond into my account. How can I set up my laptop so that it is a secondary
source of downloading and sending emails ?

What exactly do you mean by "connecting to my wireless computer"? If you
have wireless then the laptop (which presumably has wireless capability)
should connect direct to your wireless router to send and receive emails.
If that's not what you are talking about then maybe you should re-state your
question...

You configure Outlook or Windows Mail on your new Laptop; NB you will need
to set the email account option to leave a copy on the server otherwise your
mail will be downloaded to the Laptop and not be downloaded to the Desktop.
Mail sent from one PC will not appear on the other PC, unless you configure
your mail account as an Imap account.
