I have an 8-page folded newsletter. I want to print on 11x17 paper for 2
pages per sheet, so I have to print pages 1 & 8, 2& 7, 3 & 6 and 4 & 5,
respectively, on their same side of the sheets so when folded all are in
numerical sequence. How do I convert Publisher layout of pages 1-8 to a print
format like above?

I swear I answered this, I don't know where my message went, the mysteries of
cyberspace...

If you specified a booklet in page setup, the pages will print in the correct
order.
What version Publisher are you using? Do you intend to use a duplex unit?
If you are using Publisher 2003 and below without a duplex unit, it is a
straightforward operation. View, uncheck 2 page spread. Page one, print current
page, click no to the query. Turn the page over, go to page two, print current
page, click no and so on.

Publisher 2007 is an entirely different animal.
File, print,
print range, 1,8 Turn the page over, print range, 7,2
next page, print range 5,4 turn the page over, print range 3,6

Sorry, running short on time for a project, but are you saying that even
though it may look odd when I go to my print preview, it only looks that way
because Publisher knows which way to print it so that it comes out mirrored
the way I put it in? (Sorry in advanced if this has already been answered).

Not sure I understand your question.

What version Publisher? Are you using a duplex unit? In what way does print
preview look odd? If you are using 2007 the print can be confusing. Any other
version of Publisher it is a straightforward print as described in the earlier
post.
