How do I convert a Microsoft Office Imaging file (mdi) to a Word .

After scanning a document, it appears I must save it as either a mdi file, or
a tif file. For easier editing, I would like to convert mdi files to a Word
documents. How is this done?

Hi J.D.,

If you're in MS Office 2003 Document Imaging you
can use the Tools=>Recognize text or
Tools=>Send text to Microsoft Word features
as one option.
