how do i convert excel data into visio drawing

I need to convert excel spreadsheet data into a visio drawing most probably a
bar graph on a time line is this possible

Anything is possible, but I guess you are talking out-of-the-box?
Timelines can be imported from Project in Visio 2003+

Visio 2007 Professional includes Databar graphic items.

Which version of Visio are you?

Hello,

I have Visio standard 2007. Am I able to use data from excel in a Visio
Graph? IF not, where can I learn about adding information manually to the
graphs?
