How do I convert Powerpoint presentation into text in Word?

I need to convert a 50 slide presentation into text in Word so that I can
re-use the text.

Have you tried File > Send To > Microsoft Word? How about File > Save As
and choosing Outline as the Save As type? I'm sure there are many other
choices, but one of those is likely to be close to what you want.
