How do I copy a custom colour from Powerpoint and apply it to cell

I have created a presentation in Powerpoint where I have used the "Additional
Colours" to create a shade that I wanted to use. I now want to use this
within Excel for another document so that they are consistant, but cannot
seem to get the colour into Excel

You have to create the shade in Excel based on the RGB values you chose for
that color. In Excel, you can modify colors under Tools | Options | Color.
