My daughter and I are working on a large mailing list, when we are finished I
want to put them together on one computer. I have tried to copy the list on
one computer to a disk but have been unsuccessful.

What is your data source? An Access database? A Word table?

Can you expand on how you have been unsuccessful in copying the list
on a disk? How are you trying to copy it?

The data base was created in Microsoft word when I started a mail merge
address list. I have tried to highlight the receipient list to copy it to
send to a disk but only one line will highlight at at time to be copied. I
named the file "mass mailing" and have just tried to copy that file and send
to a disk but it comes up blank when I open it on the disk.

If you used the Mail Merge Wizard then it's likely your data source is
an Access database. At some point during the Wizard you were prompted
to save the file. Do you recall doing this? If you didn't modify the
folder location then it would be in "My Data Sources" which is a
folder under "My Documents". Open this folder and see if you can find
the database file.
