How Do I Copy Excel worksheet from a PowerPoint presentation??

Many changes have been made in complex PPt presentation of charts and graphs.
The original spreadsheets on which the presentation was based were not
updated and have been lost. But, the spreadsheets "behind" the PPt
presentation would be great if they could be extracted. They are badly
needed. Any help would be appreciated.
